I've put 2 10" CVT's from kicker in a box that fits under the seat of a 07 Ford F150 crew cab and for the size of the box and subs i think they were pretty loud and i also liked the price on them.

Solo Classic isn't classified as a 'shallow' though. The CVT was re-designed in 2010 as well.

pioneer premier makes some ridiculously shallow subs, my buddy had some in his truck and they sounded good too.

the Solo Classic will fit in a much smaller enclosure airspace wise, but it's still got a huge basket/magnet. CVT if you need shallow mount.

i know it's not a shallow mount, but i'm looking at a kicker 8" L5 or L7 solo-baric. they're supposed to be really nice.

Pioneer shallow mounts do sound pretty good, JL also has a new shallow mount sub...Mephis car audio also has a pretty nice shallow mount...Actually both the pioneer and the mephis subs are featured in installs in the recent trukin mag and I think one is in a yukon....Kicker is also great thats what i got but I looked at em all....MY 2 Cents

I know this is an old thread but...

JL 13TW5. I'd have a couple if they didn't cost so much!
