I ended up picking up this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FRLO9Y/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The CTEK Multi US 7002 12V Battery Charger. So far, works great. Seems really similar to what you have.

I found it odd that battery tender did not sell a charger.

These CTEK chargers I understand are also superb. Supposedly come with many world class vehicles.

One oddity I have with my Tahoe, with Viper 5701 2-way Alarm, is no matter what charger-maintainer I use, it will trip the Alarm after 35-45 seconds. Thus to keep on maintainence charge I have to place the alarm in Valet Mode. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an alarm in the first place.

Didn't matter how I hooked up the maintainer, ground to engine block, or to battery, same results.

Neither Viper, or folks from Deltran I once contacted had answers. I may start a thread here asking for suggestions about such?

I'm a Battery Tender fan. Heck, look in our shop, and you'll think I'm a Battery Tender _Employee_! Everything that isn't daily-driven is on a Battery Tender. For those times I need a jump start, I recently picked up one of these:

I haven't used it yet, but a friend told me about it, and really likes it.

I've seen one of these about 6-7 weeks ago at our local NAPA store. The fellas who work the counter were examining one.

Pretty darn cool if you ask me, ultra compact. Mark
