Did you replace the fuel filter too? Other running problem could still be related to the "spiders".

If it doesn't miss but still won't settle in and run right after 25 miles, Try fuel pressure regulator kit. And clean Well after disassembly.
Idle air control reset is another Item to try if only speed varies.

You can also remove the IAC vale and clean the valve and port or was that what you meant by reset?

filter is new yes

thought about replacing the FPR also so might just go do that since I couldnt find any vacuum leaks
