I don't know! My 08 has one and of course all the dust and crap flies up on the back of your hoe it makes it hard to see!! You have to remember to keep wiping off the lens!!!

You can pick up a BU cam for less than $200. I've even seen the Pioneer ND-BC2 BU cam as cheap as $120 new. This is the one I have and the picture quality, wide viewing angle, and even night picture is great. I use it to help line up when backing up to hook up a trailer and simply to help navigate when backing up at night because of my dark tint.

It's a mod that I will be doing at some point. We have them on our trucks at work, and sometimes that extra few inches you can get means a 3 point turn around instead of 4, 5, 6, etc etc.

i have one on my HOE' its not those nice ones that cost $200+ mines was $50. lol it works however it has its issues. When its Sunny out the camera takes 5secs to initialize, its all washed out right when you turn it on. At night its pretty much fine turns on right away, but I can't complain for the price I paid it works. Mines is mounted to the license plate; give a good vantage point for me to see when backing up. Especially with dark tint the camera helps greatly.

I have a Pioneer D3 headuint and Pioneer back up camera in my wifes Pathfinder. She uses it ALL the time. I'll eventually get one for my escalade. It's just a nice feature when backing up to make sute nothings there... person, pole, curb, etc...
