Mine sorta sucks. You guys doing any better? My driving is about 60% highway. This is the last 450 miles in yellow and my best 450 mile span appears in green.

How are you driving it?

Your numbers are about .5 MPG better than what I get from my 2007 5.3L port injection motor. My ratios are about the same as you highway to city, but I drive like a very old man, 95% of the time.

Thats about me. Z71. I drive 75% on the highway in very little traffic. I didn't expect great things but I'm a little disappointed

Last I checked I'm averaging just under 17mpg in my 5.3 tahoe with about 75% city driving. I stomp it occasionally but typically go easy on the throttle.

I'm pretty solidly 17-19mpg. For the most part I put 24.x gallons in and can expect ~450mi out of that. I drive a fair amount of secondary roads, but I also see 4-hi once or twice a week lately it seems. Not alot of urban stop and go. Last 2 fillups have been more towards 17 but I've used remote start a couple times to help de-ice and have sat on a couple job sites here and there recently.

I have a 19.6 lifetime average but that includes a SC-FL-SC all interstate trip which helps carry some extra weight when you only have 4k on the vehicle.

Just to give you some perspective, my crew cab 2019 with 5.3l / 8sp 4x4 trail boss is only getting mid 15s average. I have a heavy foot and drive only about 25% highway but my weight is around 500lbs lighter give or take. If you are close or slightly better I think you are right in line.

My best highway trip mpg, Dallas to Houston driving 75mph, I was in the high 19s babying it. Just food for thought.

mine is very similar. I drove mostly suburban stop and go but did have a 900+ mile disney trip in there and a 360 mile thanksgiving trip all highway as well. 5000 miles total so far.
I remote start almost every morning right now which definitely hurts.

you have a lot of hills in your area?

you have the 5.3l, right?
what about diff gears? 3.08, 3.23 or 3.42
what speed do you avg?

mileage seems about right if you have 3.23 or 3.42 w/ hills & avg 70ish+
