My daughter's rear end went out on the '95 2 dr Tahoe. Haven't come across a 14 bolt 3/4 ton but have found a few rear ends from the square body's (73-91 K5 Blazer) 12 bolt rear axle. Anyone done this swap before?

Swapped on early 73-87 vintage, have to measure spring perches distance. I think it is different on your 90's vintage. Other thing is get the driveshaft too. U joints bigger and check trans spline count. 14 bolts are great.

Find a 14 bolt 6 lug, you’ll thank yourself later. It’s not hard to do at all. The 14s don’t have a sway bar mount though, but I haven’t noticed any difference.
