we have exhausted the search on the Colorado/canyon forum.

Figure being another gm product, the software would be the same.

When we regear the Colorado’s the cruise control stops working even with the gear and tire size being corrected in hptuner

Anybody regear a Tahoe Yukon and was their a cruise control issue?

Was there anything else that needed to be adjusted?

My guess is it would have something to do with the ABS.

You reprogram the TCM to compensate for the regear or tire size difference but the ABS would be calculating speed by a different set of parameters. When the two don't match it probably disables the cruise control.

This is just a guess. I do not own a Tech2 so I have no working knowledge of what can be seen or changed.

Maybe James @swathdiver might be able to shed more light since he is the resident Tech2 guru around here.

Just the ecu and TCM. The regear and tire size calc is actually in the ECU.

Unfortunatley HPtuner can not modify the BCM or abs computer
