Am I Insane? How do I pause from the steering wheel?

New owner of a CPO 2015i Denali XL here. How the heck to I pause from the steering wheel? My headunit is often on GPS or similar and I don't love to unlock my phone and take my hands off the road. I know that there is a mute button but if I am on a podcast and need to talk to a passenger for a few minutes I'd like to pause.

Am I missing something?

Cancel Call button doesn't do it?

That just mutes it, generally.

I think pressing it when using Apple Carplay (and probably Android Auto) mutes and pauses it though.

Well there goes $1,200 bucks on an upgrade. The 2015's don't have CarPlay.
