I see that those are incandescent. Unfortunately landing lights are only rated for 25 hours and they have a large current draw. They get hot but are air-cooled when used in an aircraft, I’m not sure if you can control the heat if your truck is stopped? The rad fan might be adequate? How did you find 12 volts? Usually they are 24, must be a source that I haven’t seen.

Without meaning to be annoying, I will likely be doing the same as you have done (good idea) but likely with a Rigid or Rigid clone so I won’t have heat issues nor have to do it again when incandescents fail.

There are led landing lights available but I bet they are spendy.

I did something similar with my Corolla. These are Hella 500 series housings ($50) and I installed Hella 130 watt bulbs in each ($12 pair). I wired them to activate automatically via relay when I trigger the high beam lamps. Insane brightness; I lit up an ELK with these on my way to work. These last way longer than 25 hours. The wiring is 12awg to 8” pigtails at the light housings. I crunched the math and the 14awg pigtails are adequate enough for the 11 amp draw per lamp.
