Question for you on removing the stock links - how does the pin get removed from the sensor side? Any tips or tricks to help? Seems like it just pops off of the control arm side, but the pin on the sensor side has me spooked.

I've been trying to find video or even a page from the service manual that shows how to remove the pin, and cant find anything (cant even find the service manual).

I have the links, but haven't gotten up underneath yet - I wanna make damn sure that I'm not gonna break the sensor or pin before I start.

I had my local shop that did the new tires/wheels actually install my links initially. They didn't adjust them correctly so I had to finish that part. I have the original links but didn't get to see how they removed them. I would assume remove the cotter pin then pull the link off the ball end of the sensor arm, it probably snaps on and off.

Yeah - I'm not sure if its a cotter pin, or a different sort of pin. Have heard a few different things and haven't gotten a straight answer on that. Trying to sort it out before I try the install - have been trying to find some photos or video of an install that might provide clarification.

I found a picture somewhere at some point that seemed to indicate a plastic pin that pushes through the connector, but don't know if that was the yukon and what year, and now I cant find that post anymore.

The instructions just say "remove the pin" so not clear if its just a cotter pin, or some other type pin. I know one poster here mentioned that he damaged one of his sensors taking the pin out and I'd like to avoid that!

Here's photos from one of the OEM links that came off our AT4. The pin is probably this cotter pin. Other than that the links just snap on/off from ball ends attached to the vehicle.
I'd recommend measuring your ride height before so you quantify the change afterwards.

Mine had a plastic pin on the sensor side. I used a small flat screw driver to pry it out a little and then used a needle nose pliers to fully remove it from the link. Once removed you slide the link up on the ball and take it off.

I havent done the install yet - I'm hoping to have time to do it soon, and will definitely get pics when I do.
