Anybody ever replace this ****** foam gasket? Mine is falling apart and I can't find a replacement gasket part.

I'd think Home Depot or Lowes would have foam like that. Looks like the foam you put in window to winterize or cut drafts.Anybody ever replace this ****** foam gasket? Mine is falling apart and I can't find a replacement gasket part.

Foam from hd or lowes is probably thicker and better than gm’s stuff....

I got half a can of 3M spray foam adhesive left so I might as well put it to good use and try that foam then.

It's adhesive, I'd mask the box off and spray it down then stick the foam to it. It's better than the peel & stick adhesive that comes with the foam. On 2nd thought, I may spray the inner fender instead ans glue it o that, so it you got to take the box out the gasket stays on the body. Have to take it apart and see what will work out better.

You da man! I wonder if this could be modified somehow using the existing base plate and using some kind of door rubber weatherstripping.
