air bag systems

i have a 2000 tahoe limited and wanted to know if anyone makes a complete full on airbag kit/system for it? or do i have to piece it together myself?

not sure about that kits quality as for what it is... but... i will say this.. in a perfect day with a perfect installation of just whats in that kit.. and maybe a c notch... you wont lay frame unless you have 15 inch rims.. and 4 flat tires..


laying frame on 24s with rubber bands or even 22s and decent tires.. requires ALOT more than anything you will be able to bolt on..
from a STEP notch and wheel tubs to a shorter driveshaft and a new radiator over flow and possibly a small firewall tub and a smaller brake booster.. a narrowed rear end and a custom built 4 link

Im LOWWWWWWWW (tucking rims on all 4 corners) even lower now than i was in my sig.. and i am sitting rear end pumpkin to the rear floorboard and front tires are mashed against my over flow and my master fuse panel...

and im no where near dragging frame.

That solves ONE problem .... You need to go talk to a reputable shop and let them talk to you about this..

Laying frame on your truck is going to cost ALOT and is going to be in the shop for a month easy.

Im telling you im sitting as low as you can possibly sit without cutting and lifting the floorboard and doing massive wheel tubs and interior rebuild. And about 5 thousand dollars in retail price to sit where i am... and im NOT hitting frame without spending at least 3 or 4 more.

Front.
Lower control arms and or spindles in the front with custom made air brackets and 2500# dominator bags and 2 sets of valves.

Rear.
c notch and a four link with 2500# bags

Compressors and tanks to suit your needs and budget (we ran 1 viair 480 and a 12 gallon tank forever, cheapest setup i would go with)

With the right wheel offset this will sit your bumpers at about nine inches from dirt and tuck all the tire on your 24s and if youre lucky a tiny bit of rim.

not just to you but to everyone.. unless you are planning on cutting and welding the setup yourself... let the shop order the parts... its more about finding a shop you can trust than a part that might fit

found a guy thatll do it locally. talked to him today...hes gonna do whatever he has to to get the frame ON the ground. c-notch, tub, raise the floorboard, etc. Bringing the truck in in about 2 weeks so he can take a final look at it before starting the work.

Your 2000 Tahoe will be pretty easy to bag. The front will need a standard cup and bag set-up (giving that its 2wd) and the rear will you different options KP 6 link should fit, You can build an easy 2 link and a panhard bar or go parallel or triangulated four link. It all depends on how low you want to go.... If your looking to lay out I would build some upper and lower control arms up front & tub it out. The rear I would most likely do a 2 link (if on a budget) or possibly a triangulated four link if there is room ( i cant remember what those OBS tahoes look like underneath) Depending on the size of the wheels you would need at least a 6"-10" notch which will require metal work for the floor and rear tubs

I also have a 2k limited. Mine is bagged with kits from AirRide Technologies. The front is a cool ride kit with upper and lower control arms. The rear is their air bar 4 link kit with a DJM c-notch. I have some pics somewhere. I'm running 20's and they will sit in the wheel tubs, but the frame will not get that low without some serious cutting in lots of places that I'm not willing to do.
