should just plug-n-play but there is always a chance it will need a relearn, a proper tune would probably be a good idea

I would look into just having your stock one ported but even then there isn't a noticeable gain from a bigger throttle body until the intake has been replaced. Swap to a TBSS style intake manifold and port the stock throttle body, then get a real tune instead of canned and you will notice a bigger difference.

Well your TB sizing is going to be limited by the factory intake manifold. Even then if you bought an adapter, the intake manifold it going to be the choke point; yield very little in the gains department.

Better off at looking into a GEN4 intake manifold swap, then look into the throttle body up grade..

And yes, more then likely you will need to complete the throttle body relearn procedure.
