okay heres the basics
1990 R 1500 Chevy Suburban
350 tbi
700 R4 2wd
198xxx miles....
Maybe 35xxx miles on rebuilt trans
Now heres the story.. Last Jan after the last snow storm I was takin the wife to a dr appointment... Was accelerating and hit some ice and spun the tires till i hit dry pavement again... 2nd gear isnt gone but it has one hell of a flair in it... Reverse, 1,3,4 are great.. just have to be real easy when its in second... More gas u give the more it flares... Had the tranny rebuilt back in 2006 and had sold the truck and got it back in 08... Was doin a lil research on the vette servo and had noticed on some other forums that doin this mod had virtually eliminated their flair issues and had put around 55,*** miles on the trans and still goin strong.. The fluid in my trans isnt really burnt.. still a nice pink with a hint of brown but im gonna be droppin the pan anyways when doing the servo... Im just wondering if this will help my issue cause that burban is my baby even tho it breaking helped me find the KON im rollin in now.. But if this doesnt work ill put the servo in my Kon and just call it a win win deal...
