I will be driving the truck and the rpms will go up, you can hear it down shift, but the speedo hits zero? Then it will start reading, slam into gear and act right till it does it again.
I scanned it and got no codes aside from a crank sensor and bad 02 but its had that since i got it. Yes it has trans fluid in it.
My thought would be a bad vss ( vehicle speed sensor ) but I am basing that off working on vettes.
Anyone else have this issue?

Went and ordered a new VSS. Will see if this fixes the problem. Also went and got new gasket and filter to change this weekend.
