My driveway is a bit steep (sloped downward toward house). When my 97 4dr 4wd Tahoe is full of gas, if I park it nose uphill, I'll find a puddle of gas under the left back corner of the truck. After I've driven it 20 miles or so (a couple gallons-worth), then it won't leak when parked nose-up.
Parking nose-downhill doesn't leak when full.
My preference is to park nose-up, as backing up and out of my driveway has very limited visibility, vs. going forward out my driveway.
I've been trying to remember to park nose-down when freshly filled, but would like to figure out where the leak might be to potentially fix it.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Is there a common or most-likely failure point?
