I have a 1995 Tahoe 2dr that the previous owner removed the spare tire mount to install a sub box. That's been removed and I located a mount out of a '97 at a local wrecking yard. I have the bracket installed however I do not know how the tire is secured to the bracket. There was a small diameter J hook laying in the back of the parts truck which I grabbed

That's what I was looking for. Does it list any part numbers?

Thanks

Bill

Gmpartseast.com. but they leave of the first 2 digits. Take the rest of number and go to gmpartsgiant and using same two parts categories match to partial number and description on othersight to get first 2 digits as well and bingo. Take the whole number and start your research. I know it sucks but it got setup like that on purpose see we can't do it easier a dhsop elsewhere.

Hey guys,

I know this topic is stone cold, but I wanted to expand on the information for the sake of the group. I'm "restoring" my 96 gmc and finding the parts the PO threw away is a bit of a task. Every little bit helps.

Such an elaborate set up. They must have put off the spare plans until the last minute
