5.3 Tahoe Fuel Pump

Can anyone confirm whether a 2005 Tahoe 5.3L has a pulse width type fuel pump and control module?

I’m planning on installing a Walbro 450 as part of the turbo conversion, but I’ve been told the 450 will get burnt out if the the above information is correct, and it’s plunked in without adding return lines.
