Last Thursday I threw a P1870 code and then the next day my transmission started slipping. I got stranded and have to have my Tahoe towed home. I found a rebuilt 4L60e trans for $600 witch is about $300 cheaper than the quote price to rebuild my current trans IF I removed it and brought it to the rebuilder. My question is are all 4L60e trannies the same? I have 4x4 not sure if different. Trying to save some money here.
