Does anybody run 305/40/22s on gmc replicas? I know the stock size is 285/45 so I was wondering if the wider tire would cause any balancing issues. I read somewhere that a 305/40 shouldn't be mounted to anything less than 10" wide. Arent the gmc replicas 22x9?

Any help/pics would be appreciated.

You're fine with a 305/40/22. We've done them plenty of times.

If you're looking for reps let me know.

Cool thanks! I found some locally so I'm gonna go check them out this weekend. I'll post pics if I end up getting them.

Looks good. Did you go with the 305/45?
Thanks. They're 305/40/22. The tires are a little bit wider than the rim but it looks pretty good, I'm happy with it.

Did you need to re-calibrate the speedometer? or use spacer?
