I'm considering a front and rear gear swap.
Currently have 3.73's in my 07 Z71 4x4 w/ 4spd-10 bolt trans 2.5"f/1.5"r level and 285/65/18 BFG all terrains

1. OEM 4.10's or after market brand?
2. Shop install - what price range should I be looking at?
3. All/any performace pro's/con's?

Additionally, I have a catchcan being shipped (maintain long term performance), corsa touring catback on its way, looking for a long tube header w/ cat setup, Airaid Jr intake installed, looking to do a BB tune after all the above

Any help is appreciated as I am just learning as I go

you can probably find an entire rear axle and front diff with 4.10 from junk yard for cheaper than new gears unless you can do install yourself. then sell your old stuff to make back money.

although it might be easier to just regear since your a newer vehicle. check out rons machine shop they have good prices on gears. just gotta find the right person to do the install. don't want to cheap out and get ****** wear but don't want to get ***** on price either. there's a good medium somewhere

I checked w/ 4Wheel Parts & quote was $1600 for a re-gear. Did a BB tune instead. Made a big diff in power with my 34s"
