I have the Yokohama Geolandars in a 265/70/17 size. It's an all terrain tire, but it handles on the road like a highway tire. Considering that it's an all terrain tire, it has ZERO road noise. This is my second set of these tires. I got my last set in 2008, and those lasted up until last year. Then I replaced them with the same exact tires because I liked them so much. I got them from TireRack for around $160 each if I remember correctly. But TireRack has a warehouse/distribution center here locally so I don't have to pay for shipping, I can just go pick them up at the warehouse. But they DO make me pay sales tax when I do that.
Here's a picture of them on my truck. But this is the last set. This set I have on my truck now, I mounted with the white letters facing in and black walls facing out.

I don't like it, they look too small for me compared to the 265/60

To each their own but they are literally within 1/16th of the stock tires when it comes to sidewall and overall height.

Just be aware, thee 245/65-17 are 2 load index numbers (107)under the stock PPV load range of 109, which is on the low side compared to many other Chevy truck/suv tires. If you maintain no lower than the spec 37 psi tire pressure you should be ok. the 1/2 inch taller 255/65-17 is actually higher at 110 which is acceptable.

I put the Nexans on when i replaced the stock goodyears. I'm pretty happy with them and I drive the hell out of my ppv. Tires do some singing in the twisties but keep it where I aim it.

I've heard that Nexen's have the consistency of old dried-out Ticonderoga pencil eraser...

Im use to performance tires on cars. This was my first suv and for I think the $500 I paid for a set of these tires off ebay. I'm pretty happy with them. Ive had them on for maybe 5000 miles. The road to my work is a favorite for motorcycles to ride because of all the curves. I throw this fat ass ***** around going through them and they are wearing evenly. I'll buy these again if I don't change rims when these were out. I live in Fla so cold weather they may suck in.

265/70 Conti's......SUPER happy. I've got about 8k miles on them so far, and with the extra 1" or so lower than PPV height, I think they look great with the little bit of extra sidewall.

If they didn't cost so freaking much I would love to have a new set of Firestone Pursuit tires. They rock!!!
