Just thought I'd give an update, the trip went perfect. I took tozans rear bed idea and whipped up my ghetto version to get through the trip. In total we slept 4 nights in the truck ranging from superstition mountain in Apache junction to walmart parking lots. I'll post a timelapse I took coming through the mountains into AZ. This site saved my ass more than once especially with the day to day travels we had. I will most likely make a dedicated thread on the trip as I walked away learning quite a lot. Thanks again for all the help and advice!

Awesome man!! AZ is my parents home still and my brothers work, camp and travel all around the state. Love it!!
