I inspected a 2027 Yukon Denali which is to be an identically optioned replacement for my Lemon Law 2025. I discovered that the passenger’s side A pillar grab handle has been eliminated.

I was hoping to find a way to add a driver’s side handle for myself, but this is going to annoy my wife.

They didn't happen to put one in the headliner, did they?
They've never been on the A pillar in any Yukon I've had. Always straight above the passenger door in the headliner. I will admit the A pillar would be the best place for a handle. But the One straight above you will work once you get familiar with it. I highly doubt they are completely omitting them....

As much as I am not a fan of AI, I'll leave this here for other people to decipher....

Short answer: No — no 2025 Yukon Denali (or any 2021–2026 Yukon) came with an A‑pillar grab handle from the factory. All of them delete the driver‑side A‑pillar handle, and none offer a passenger A‑pillar handle either.

What GM did include: GM only installs B‑pillar and C‑pillar assist handles on the Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade platform. The parts you found online confirm this — they are all center‑pillar (B‑pillar) handles, not A‑pillar handles.

  • GM part 84700932 is a passenger‑side center pillar assist handle (B‑pillar).
  • ACDelco part 26444770 is also a B‑pillar assist handle.
  • GM part 15070535 is a general grab handle used in various positions, but again not an A‑pillar application for Yukon.
Why there’s no A‑pillar handle on 2025 Yukon Denali: GM removed A‑pillar handles years ago on full‑size SUVs because the A‑pillar houses:

  • side‑curtain airbag deployment path
  • wiring harnesses
  • structural crash‑energy channels
Adding a grab handle there would interfere with airbag deployment and crash‑test certification.

Bottom line: ✔️ B‑pillar handles — yes❌ A‑pillar handles — none, on any trim, any 2025 Yukon (SLE/SLT/AT4/Denali/Denali Ultimate)

Sincere apologies as I was completely wrong about the A pillar Grab Handle. The 2027 Yukon Denali I took delivery of today does indeed have the Grab Handle on the passenger’s side just as my 2025 had.
