Hi,
I have a 2021 Tahoe RST and I'm feeling a little disappointed by the factory 9 Speaker Bose Sound System. Does anyone has some recommendations on how to do a little upgrade? What I'm expecting is more rich and accurate sound and stronger thump. Can I just buy new pairs of aftermarket speakers and replace the existing ones or I have to add a new amp and sub to completely switch out the original system? If I just switch out two or four speakers, will that affect the Bose Noise Cancellation?

Really appreciate it!

not sure what exists & is marketed to the new T1xx platform.
you have to get proper ohm components, as Bose is "special" (LOL)
2 ohm

i have a '15. i just picked up a JL stealthbox. (uses a 10" woofer vs Bose 6.5")
as well as 2 pair of jl 6.5" coax speakers & a 2 ohm 300 watt amp.

a buddy has same setup & it sounds amazing

Thanks! Are you saying it's better to have the whole system upgraded?

nah, not really.

just make sure you get the proper ohm parts , so it all works.

i keeping stock radio & wiring... thus the coax set for doors.

im leaving the 3 in dash & 2 in rear alone.... they seem to be just filler speakers.

if you want a banging system that can be heard down the road, then sure do the whole thing...wires, dual batteries, multiple alternators :D
there are a few peeps here w/ amazing systems like that.
