2020 GMC Denali 4wd 1500 w/6.2 engine

Does anyone here know of how to turn off "Auto Stop" on this model? I was told that the 2021 models had a switch with a capital "A" and an arrow circling it, that you can turn off with and I was told and found in research that the way GM says to do it on the 2020 is to pop the hood, start engine, close hood and will not auto stop again till restart.

If that’s true I’d be running a switch from the dash to the hood switch circuit.

Yes, if you search you can find where people have rigged that. I saw one that was a pigtail with three connections that would just plug in to the circuit to by-pass the hood pop B/S.
