Trying to figure out what’s going on with my Tahoe. I cave no control over the direction of air in the front of my cabin, only the rear.

I’ve changed front blower motor and the resistor to no avail. I have the dash pulled apart to change out the dash control unit and hvac control module, but figured I’d post here before spending more money on possible cheap fixes.

Fuses are all good.

Sounds like a control unit or blend door issue. @swathdiver may be able to give you some troubleshooting suggestions to zero in on the source of your issue.

I appreciate everyone chiming in. I didn’t get any other codes because the shop was busy and they squeezed me in to see if they saw anything obvious. The mechanic didn’t see one amongst the list so he just gave me the one that he thought might be relevant.

I’ll be away for a few days so I will go again when I got back.

I just replaced the HVAC dash control module, and it helped….somewhat. I can hear the actuator change the air flow when I select vent, floor, defrost, and I do feel some intermittent air coming out of the vents. As I stated, the air control works just fine for the rear seats and that is still the case.

I know I’m goin about this backwards so no need to point that out, lol.
