Looking for advice and any thoughts you might have about a few items I need taken care of.

1) A/C Repair
Apparently I have a hole in my ?, any way not holding Freon. $1128.13 (Parts $284.39 Labor 2.2hrs)

2) Haptic Motors on Drivers Seat
Not responding $538.43 (Parts $220 Labor 2hrs)

3) Engine Oil Cooler Line
$613 (Parts $121 Labor 3hrs)

4) Rear Axcel Seal
$526 (Parts 22.14 Labor 2.7hrs)

Pretty sure I can replace the haptic motors, as I have a new seat cushion that needs to go in anyways, the rest of it is above my pay grade.

Curious, does look about right for this work? Obviously Labor is about $160hr.

Thanks,

coup

The math on the A/C isn’t adding up for me.

Sure makes me appreciate the $85/hr shop rate at my local GMC dealer.

I've had A/C repairs, engine oil cooler lines and rear axel seals replaced by dealer in past.

A/C repair is complicated and something I don't mess with. My 15 was leaking from the rear A/C line. Was $1300 to replace 2 years ago. That same truck had a rear axel seal leaking and repaired that for $400 at the dealer about a year and half ago.

My current 18 had the engine oil cooler lines leaking for a while. Could just see dirt building up on the line where it was leaking. But it wasn't dripping down at all so I had skipped the repair for about 9 months. Once extreme cold temps hit Minnesota last December it made the hole bigger and it started dripping on the plastic guard below, so i replaced them then for about the same you were quoted. If they aren't dripping yet I would hold off until they do (that's what my service advisor had me do).

You could always try an independent garage in your area which may be cheaper than the Dealer, hourly Dealer rate in Central Florida is around $130.00-140.00 which is ridiculous. Have a friend in Daytona Beach that charges $90.00 an hour, independent garage.

My AC went out a few weeks ago. Called the local garage that has done much quality work for me in the past. He knew the problem immediately. Condenser leak. Replaced condenser with aftermarket without plastic fittings. He said he’s replaced many of them. $700. Works great.
