Hey all - Looking to tow a ~30ft travel trailer (6000lbs).

If I had the ability to get a truck, I would fire down, but having two young ones and a dog, the 2500 just doesn't have enough room. Anyway :D

I am looking for recommendations on:

  1. Tow Mirrors
  2. Engine mods / Tuner
  3. Air intake
  4. Exhaust
Whatever is going to help increase tow mileage.

Thanks!

I tow a 8000lb boat with my Yukon. With just the 5.3 I have no trouble with power and get between 12-14 mpg. The problem with the Yukon is the short wheelbase and the mirrors are a joke for towing. The XL would be more stable for towing.
