Hey there, new to the forum. Just sold my 99 tahoe - I'll miss it. But bought a '15 Tahoe for a great price - but the guy lowered it, so, looking to get back to stock, or maybe stiffer, and add 2 to 3" - w/o leveling. I searched the forum but may have missed info. Hard knowing exactly how he lowered it to tell me what I have to replace! The rear coils look awefully bound tight at their tops (top 4 coils are compressed to gether). I'm assuming the front spindles were changed out - looks like there's only a couple inches of down travel. I do off-road a fair amount and found 2 to 3 stiffer than stock ride works best for my driving habits. Wondering if I'll have to take it to a dealer to identify what's needed? Hoping not - I do all my work besides maybe rebuilding a tranny.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - the things got 24" wheels and brand new tires I'll be getting rid of asap!!! I already have some great 18" wheels with 275/65R18's and need to get it up quick so I can do the swap and not be so gangsta! :)

You'll get better answers/help in the proper section for your year Tahoe. This is the 00-06 section. Maybe someone can move it.
