I' looking to upgrade my factory amp for my subwoofer . Do you think I should and amp and another woofer. Which do you believe will give me better quality sound adding subwoofer and amp or adding the luxury amp from another vehicle. I have 2007 Yukon SLT Bose system with navigation add to the vehicle.

Used this thread and the YouTube video to install the Rockford p300-12 in my wife's Tahoe today. Wanted to come back and say thanks for the write up. It helped tremendously! [emoji1360]

Quick question, I know it’s been a while since any post in this thread but recently I lost remote signal from the pin under the dash. I tried connecting the remote to another pin and it worked.

Was trying to figure out if it could’ve been a blown fuse but I can’t find any in all 3 locations. Anyone can help with this?

Hi, I used a METRA PART # AAPAJLO adjustable LOC on my 2016 LTZ. It will accept 55 watts . I purchased it from advanced auto for approximately 20 bucks . I have it driving a TARAMPS smart 3.1 on 3 eminence 18 LFD's This one has the remote turn on option so I just hooked the orange wire to the acc spade coming out of the fuse box beside the jack and ran the blue remote from the LOC to the TARAMPS sub amp. I summed the peaker level in puts and ran them to pins 1 and 5 which is the sub out +/- on the 8 pin amp plug. The bose auto pilot is off but i didnt have any issue with the amp cutting off. This amp only takes 4 v max so the LOC gains are set fairly low as is the amplifiers gain are as well.

haah, adding a sub to the wifes new to her 16 burb and found where the dealer put the gps tracker, right under the stock amp/jack mount, lol
actually this vehicle had 2 of them, 1 is under the carpet next to the 2nd row seat but looks like it was previously disabled the power lead is cut
using a LC2i off of the stock sub output and sounds great!
