High beams and low beams are on different power sources, so it is normal if low beams didn’t work but high beams did.

One thing you could try to trouble shoot the ballast is since your problem is on the left side, drivers side, swap the ballast from the drivers side to the passenger side and see if the problem follows the ballast.

Just wanna update that I figured the ballast went out after 2 years. Swapped out to Hilux HID for my Tahoe and just put them on. This brands 6k white is more of a white color than the Vanquish 6k bulb. Vanquish had more of a blueish tone to it.

Hylux brand HID ballasts and kits are great quality, some counterfeits out there. But genuine Hylux HID components are of very high quality compared to other aftermarket alternatives.

Keep in mind the higher the wattage output from the ballast to the bulb the lower the kelvin rating of light output, getting closer to the white/yellow end of the kelvin spectrum and further away from the blue/purple end. Therefore based on your post above your result may have something to do with the Hylux ballast putting out more wattage/power to the bulbs than the Vanquish kit (ballasts) you had installed originaly.

That's definitely good to know. So far so good. Definitely brighter. Also came with 3 year warranty.
Thanks for the help and information. Much appreciated.
