Curious if anyone has serviced these. My lights will randomly start strobing/flickering. That would be cool if I had control over it... But I don't and have thought I was getting pulled over twice now. I haven't pulled it out to look at it, but it appears they are not serviceable? Thanks! Nick Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
get battery tested. check battery cables to see if they are corroded or loose or hot. if hot, there is a short somewhere. eta: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2015-yukon-electrical-issue.113038/#post-1365313 & post below it eta2: found this https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2015-tahoe-disco-lights.63651/page-7#post-1029336
I had this condition in my 2015 Tahoe. There's a module and the overhead center council that needs to be replaced. There was a TSB on this at the dealer ..
My dealer wants 48.99 per module... I thought about buying a complete console from eBay.. but hate to gamble on getting a bad one. Also, my sunroof is a single switch...everyone that I've seen online has 2 switches for the sunroof plus a switch to turn on/off an ambient light which my 2015 LT does not have. Hate to buy it and not be able to use it. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Get the part # and shop around. Ebay, Rockauto ect. GM Dealers are on Ebay with discounted pricing, free shipping, no tax.
I went the Ebay route and they have not flickered since. you need to replace both lights in the front overhead console.
I actually bought an overhead console and swapped the light modules out. No issues now. Got a great deal on a new console. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
