I was told by a local radio shop that these PPVs have 4 speakers, 6x9s in the doors. I KNOW I have upper dash speakers too. 1st...anyone know what size, 2nd, how do you get to them?

According to Crutchfield, the doors can handle 6"x9" speakers, and also 6 1/2" and 6 3/4" speakers with supplied adapter plates. As such, you have a wide variety of choices for speaker sizes, speaker brands, and multiple price points. Go to Crutchfield, enter your year, make, model of truck, and you will see the available selection of speakers that you can choose from.

And dash speakers....a radio shop suggested pillar speakers but since I have dashboard speakers, I’d rather just upgrade those too

The 2015 Tahoe has 6 speakers: 2 in the dash (on top), 2 in the front doors and 2 in the rear doors. If your Tahoe came with option WX7, you'll need to remove the "Y" cable under the dash to get all 6 to work with the radio. This just unplugs and then you can plug the 2 connectors in the regular harness back together.

I upgraded to the io6 radio, so perhaps that was taken care with the multitude of changes that were made
