in summary:
Rough Country really dropped the ball with that 7.5" kit. It's their 5" kit with a larger spacer and obscenely large rear blocks (6.5" blocks!!!). Thats some pretty "awesome" R & D right there. Anyway, the angles with this kit are essentially maxed out, RC requires you to cut off the droop stops, so the upper control arms don't hit, and that's obviously due to spindles that are designed for a 5" kit. So you can also count on some steep TRE angles too. Throw in a diff drop for a 5" kit and your CV's are maxed as well. I had the RC 3" kit on my truck 3 yrs ago and it was total freakin' trash, as was RC's customer service. There is a reason RC is so cheap.

edit: found the threads I needed after a few hours of google:

I am not on any truck forums, so thought I would ask here.
if you are on a chevy truck forum, cross post this & put a linkie here

here is the lift:

$1,199.95
SKU:298.20

it's basically bucking & jumping if you let off the brakes and let it creep, enough to kind of set up a rhythmic little chug as it creeps along.

the rear axle lift blocks are the HUGE things in the back of the picture,
are those super tall lift blocks causing the axle to wrap/unwind/wrap, and is that the cause?

I always thought blocks on the rear were cheap and looked gay.
does any company make a rear SPRING lift to replace the OEM springs, and use a smaller block, or none at all?

page says:
Specially designed anti-axle wrap rear blocks maintain stock ride quality while eliminating common lift block problem.
I would assume that is talking about the top of the block being super long
