They could make billet aluminum handles, it'll give it that racecar look! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Believe it or not, the screws on this handle were tight too. The issue was they were tight to the broken part of the screw race which wasn’t attached to the handle. I’d be willing to bet that if you actually remove the screws you’d find several that weren’t doing anything except holding broken pieces of plastic. I bought these panels off several years of Tahoes, Silverados, Yukon’s etc from EBay sellers from wrecking yards all over the US and it took me 8 panels to find 4 that were usable after disassembling them to paint. And I didn’t break them while taking them apart.
Hell yeah, then PC them in whatever color you want. But I’m thinking they might be $$$$$$ knowing Gruven.
I've come to realize that GM interior plastics go to crap with age. My 2001 with 215k miles, mechanically it's in great condition, but a few years ago the plastics started breaking. Radio knobs, glove box latches, bezels around door switches. Whenever I'd take off a doof panel to replace a window motor or something, half the plastic tabs or screw bosses would be cracked or broken. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Four pages 20 pop up , no answers on how to fix, waste of time, go to YouTube as usual find solutions.
When you find the answers on YouTube, maybe you can share them here so it won’t be a waste of time for the next person.
Show us the links or you’re no help. Let’s see some YouTube videos of people fixing these stupid door handles. I’d be curious af to see someone do it. So far, you’re zero help.
