2010 SSV Service 4x4 light.

We just got the first big snow of the year here and Nebraska and it's brought out an issue in my dads 2010 tahoe ssv. Apparently this evening 4x4 would not engage which as you can imagine was a pita especially with all the snow here. Haven't pulled a code but I wanted to see what the general consensus for that message is. Thanks guys!

My code popped a few weeks ago in colorado... let it sit the rest of the day and the next day it was gone. I think it had something to do with ice in under carriage, or water in transfer case or somthing.

I have seen that code pop from overshooting 4x4 hi and accidentally going to 4x4 low while in drive or not in neutral.

Worst case scenario it's the actuator and they cost about 80 and are not to complicated of a fix.

No idea, need the code(s). It's important to regularly use these features if only for a few minutes to keep them exercised so they don't get gummed up in place and won't be there when you need them most.
