In the last few days I've noticed my battery gauge fluctuating between 13 and 15. I have a chip in to turn off the fuel management system and that seems to still be working. No symptoms of bad alternator. From what I'm seeing this fluctuation may be normal but I didn't notice it until recently. Anyone have thoughts on this?

perfectly normal, and your "chip" doesn't turn off the RVC, the regulated voltage control works dependent on the state of the battery charge at any given time. excessive voltage fluctuation could be a indicator of your battery getting weak, the change in weather cold to hot and hot to cold takes a lot batteries out every season, here in California where I live it gets hot batteries last usually barely beyond the typical 3yr warranty then they start taking a dump.
