Customer Build Updates

–Customer: Denis H
–Vehicle: 2007 GMC Denali
–Projectors: MH1
–Lens Upgrades: None/OEM Clear
–Shrouds: Apollo 1.0
–Bulbs: Morimoto
–Ballasts: Morimoto
–Paint Theme: All Satin Black
–Vinyl Logo/Decals: None
-Extras: Ambers Removed
–Special Notes/Our Thoughts: Denis was after a dark set of lights – only in appearance of course. With a set of OEM replica housings in hand we went to work on installing the MH1 bi-xenon projectors. Once the ambers were removed we blacked out everything! The only bit of chrome are the super clean Apollo 1.0 shrouds. Lots of light in a dark set of lights! Win!

Wonder how it looks in a black one? Possible overkill? Hummmmmm

Black lights look great on a black car..........

Problem is that they don't sometimes look super great simply because the clear plastic lens over the black light housing creates a different glare effect. So then your truck does not look "blacked out" even though one has black light.

Why on some cars smoked lens or a smoked chrome setup looks better on black....... because you are not dealing with reflector plastic glare

That is beautiful. I'd like to see them installed.
We hope so too!

Depends on the end user's overall goals...

Agreed - the overall design of a headlight housing can cause more or less of the glare effect you're talking about. We'll see once they are installed :)
