New front hubs installed recently.NAPA parts. Making sort of a grinding noise varies with road speed.
Any ideas on what might be wrong? Part? Error on our installation?

What's "recently"? Put the front end up and spin the wheels. Take the caliper off and spin the hub. Maybe it's the brakes and not the hub? That being said, the overwhelming majority will agree that you should only use Timken hubs and others have a ridiculously short service life.

Recently purchased new front wheel hub and bearing assemblies from Napa. Got them home and noticed they were made in China. Found that Timken offers USA made hub and bearings. Returned the Napa product and ordered Timken from Summit. Prefer to buy from local brick and mortar, but not as much as I prefer installing USA made parts over China made.:patriot:

probably just hearing the tires if you only have a few miles on the new hubs. If your old hub bearing was really bad it could have caused some unusual tire wear and the tire is now your noise problem. Or of course it could have been the tire the entire time and not the wheel bearing at all? Heard of that happening once.....

Replaced front bearing and discovered it was loose rear lug nuts.

I saved my Napa wheel bearing box and it has 'Made in China' right on the label under the part number. You Should of seen that right at the counter before leaving the store.
