2002 Yukon Denali puddle lights on side mirrors.

I’m just curious are you able to have the puddle lights under the side mirrors as blinker lights. And can the red cover on the backside be removed. I tried folding my mirror and it snapped and hard to find same color without going to a paint shop.

The mirror cover should pop right off. Mine were held on by thin double stick tape.
I'm sure you could use the puddle lights as blinkers, you'd just have to wire them into the blinkers. Anything is possible.

why not just add the blinker mirror glass from 03+ they are a direct replacement you just have to run 1 blinker ground wire to ground (inside the door skin) and the 1 power wire connects to the blue wires on the bcm.
the hardest part is feeding the wires thru the mirror mount stem but it can be done I did it to my 00 and it worked out great
if you really wanted to just do the puddle lights all you have to do is wire them to the blue wires on the bcm

THE GLASS WITH LED BLINKER will go right on, then you just add the wiring.
a whole 03+ mirror assembly has a different wire harness entirely, but will bolt up
