2002 Yukon Denali Bose System

Good afternoon,

I just purchased a 2002 Yukon Denali with the Bose sound system. it doesn't sound bad but it could sound much better. I was hoping if someone could give me some direction to take on making it sound better without ripping it out and installing a whole new set of speakers.

Pull a door panel or two and take a good look at the speakers. At their age the cones are probably rotted. Speakers aren't all that difficult to replace in these.

I agree with the above. Buy an aftermarket radio, sound deaden your doors then install new speakers. Make sure you buy speakers to match the ohm load of the factory speakers otherwise it'll sound quiet.
