I have a 2003 Z71 with (Ford) 2" leveling kit with stock height rear.
I am currently running 285/70/17 Duratracs on Helo's with -12 (minus 12) offset AND 4.5" backspacing. Everything clears fine after I did a small bit of trimming on the liner and air dam.

If going to an 18" rim with 0 offset and 5" backspacing running 285/65/18's (width, diameter and circumference near equal as the 285/70/17) will the additional offset/backspacing cause any rubbing issues?

Anyone running the 18" setup mentioned above?

Thank much!

The 0 offset will actually give you more clearance than the -12mm. This assumes both wheels are the same width, which looks to be the case based on the backspace combinations (both equate to a 9" wheel)

Thanks... Yes.. both are 9" w - I thought it would clear just fine on the OUTBOARD side (bumper lip/fender liners) but was concerned about potential interference with the sway bar or something on the INboard. I guess I'll pull the trigger on the 18 set-up.
Thanks!

You'll have plenty of clearance inboard
