Hi All, just picked up 2023 Yukon 5.3L

orderered 9/18 , delivered 9/21 Lol.

Truck was built Aug 27, afternoon shift.

Stopped in to order one, this one was unsold just being unloaded off the truck. employee preferred pricing, traded in a Canyon Diesel.

Yukon drives flawless. work of art, way to go Texas.

Thank you! I’m thinking the backlogs are starting to clear up. Found diesel and Denali Ultimate on the same lot for sale. we have a new luxury tax that started this month(over $100K) , it will slow the Ultimate sales to a halt for sure. adds $10K

What made you trade the diesel in? Any issues with it, or just a bigger family rig? Just curious

The Canyon Diesel is a great truck,
Wanted a bigger tow rig.

two things I did not like on Canyon.
The seats suck, long trips…
The height,

with the step rails it’s “too low” to get in “normally” without them “to high”

the 2.8L Diesel is a nice engine, towed a 4000lbs trailer with it. enough torgue, but lacks HP.
had zero issues with the Canyon.

I did have air suspension in the Canyon. i’ll miss that!

The Yukon is a different caliber truck. and more money.
