I have a 1996 chevy tahoe i changed the o2 senc. all 3.The truck started but runs reallly rough and backfires by the back o2 senc. The Vacuum line by the driver side firewall is on it.But, If i remove the line it clears up for a short time about 10 minutes then idles fine and starts with the backfiring again.. i have not driven it yet.

Could be alot of things, started with most likely/cheap. How about you give us Complete vehicle details and maint history, mileage, codes, etc and we give you more detailed response?

1996 chevy tahoe 270xxx miles distributor cap replaced 4 years ago and replaced again when suggested yesterday, all 3 o2 sensors, spark plugs and wires replaced, fuel pumpand fuel filter replaced, transmission casing replaced , new seals and filters in transmission, oil change. The last codes they read were for the o2 sensors.

Any Codes? You need to clear codes after repairs to see if they come back. Doesn't clear itself easily.
In order to diagnose 90 % of the driveline issues you need a cheap scanner, multimeter, test light, fuel pressure guage with long hose.
BAFX has a cheap bluetooth that works pretty good.
I'm expecting to see a P0300 or P1351 on your scan.

1996 chevy tahoe distributor cap replaced, all 3 o2 sensors, spark plugs and wires replaced, fuel pump, fuel filter, transmission casing replaced , new seals and filters in transmission. I was told the 5.7 L has 4 o2 sensors? I only replaced 3 one on driver side one on passenger side and the other in front of cat converter. Does anyone know where the 4th one is?
