1996 Tahoe front axle actuator - need wiring help

Hi

I have a 96 Tahoe, mfg date 5/96.

I'm trying to understand the wiring on the front actuator. The axle actuator has been upgraded to the electric motor. The new harness is a 3 pin connector with colors Brown, Black and Light Blue.

The actuator will extend but not retract.

When I check the connector with voltmeter in 2HI with key on, I have +12Vdc between Black and Lt Blue and +12Vdc between Black and Brown.

When i push 4HI, it is the same as above.

Does anyone have experience with the 3 Pin harness / actuator?

I ended up replacing the transfer case switch and all works now !
