Hello, I ordered the 16" Wilwood big brake kit. I just want to be positive it will clear the stock 22" escalade wheels. Does anyone know? Here is a pic of a the wheels/vehicle. (First image i found on google)

I’d be surprised if it didn’t. It gives you an extra 6” for the calipers

Wilwood has drawings you can use to measure. I have the 16” kit on my 02 Denali with 22” reps and it’s pretty close. It’s not necessarily the diameter of the wheels but how the spokes are in relation to the hub, whether they move outward enough. Kind of hard to explain so here's a couple pics. One is my 26" dubs and the other is my 22" reps. The Dubs are actually closer, only about 1/8" away. The reps are about 1/4".

Thanks for the input. I didn't see any type of service interval on the calipers. How long have you been running your set? Pad life?
Thanks!

Mine have been on about a year/ 10k. No sign of wear on the pads that I can tell. They’re so beefy I expect they’ll last a long time. I sure hope so, pads for all 4 are about $400-500.

I have a set of 14” wilwoods on front and rear of our 2014 Denali. They have about 8000 miles on them and look untouched. The stopping power is awesome! Hope they last, like you say.

I have the 16” 6 piston on the front of my denali and the 14” 4 piston in the rear. I have 24’s and they clear fine and still look small. But as explained in a previous reply, it all depends on the wheels. You just have to buy them and hope they fit. I also have a Beltech 2/4” drop and we had to shave/grind 1/16” of of the Beltech drop spindle as they were literally rubbing on the new rotor. The Beltech cast drop spindles were not an exact OEM shape and could have caused serious problems if my shop didn’t catch it. So if you have a lowering kit, be aware.
