09 Yukon FM Reception Weak

I've got a new Yukon 09 and finding the FM reception a lot weaker than the 97 Suburban it is replacing. Has anyone tried fixing this with an Antenna Amplifier?

I had the same problem with my 08' but then if just got better all of a sudden. Depends on your area alot too though. XM is the way to go.
