I was literally just thinking that.

Where was the camera located in the Hoes?

Does anyone know if the wiring for the camera is tucked away?

Same spot as all these SUVs- underside of the applique just above the license plate. You'll see an embossed square where the cutout would be to mount the OEM camera. I doubt the wiring is there. My LTZ didn't come with a camera and the wiring isn't there, or at least I didn't see it. Aftermarket cameras are way cheaper and it seems pretty much all of them have better picture quality. There are plenty that look just like the OEM one.

The wiring is not there. I have a backup camera for my pioneer head unit but was thinking about a front camera for parking on the rear view mirror with a momentary switch.


Plus it’s annoying not having an auto dim mirror so might as well kill two birds with one stone.
