I have a 2008 Yukon Denali That I am wanting to pull all the interior, including heated leather seats and the Bose system and drop it in a base model 08 Tahoe I own both vehicles. I thought everything would just wire up with the factory Tahoe harness do I need to completely rip out the body harness for the Denali and install it in my Tahoe? I know trying to get into these dashes will be a nightmare.

I would assume the wiring for door locks, windows, etc would be standard. However, all the wiring for the amps, seats, speakers, auto climate, etc would probably be specific to each vehicle based on trim level. I may be incorrect on this, but you wouldn't know until you pulled both interiors out.
My 0.02 would be to sell both and look for a cleaner, lower mileage Denali or Escalade to get the creature comforts you are looking for. Or, find a nice lower mileage LTZ and just be done with it. A few hours at the dealership and DMV will feel like a cake walk compared to the potential issues you might run up against.

Thanks I got a steak on both of them, I’m also pulling the 6.2l and dropping it in the Tahoe with a stage 3 cam. Guess imma have to do more homework
gonna have to pull everything out and swap wiring harness over, all of it, bcm, modules, everything
since the interior is getting swapped anyway shouldn't be a whole bunch more work

I have everything except the wiring out the Yukon
the harness is going to be necessary especially if it has any bells and whistles like heated/cooled seats, blind spot, folding mirrors, power running board, digital/auto hvac, bose, 6speed transmission, electronic suspension, integrated brake controller, etc, etc
lights are wired different

You absolutely have your work cut out for you with that scope of project. I wish you the best of outcomes, but be prepared for a series of frustrations in the process.

Just to be clear: you have a Denali with a rusty/trashed body, and clean-bodied base model yukon? I’m pretty sure they share the same body harness. GM typically likes to use the same harness for every ‘level’ of a model, and if your car didn’t come with a particular option, the unused connector is just taped back onto itself. The way to tell definitively, is to go onto your preferred GM OEM parts website, and type in both VINs. If the wire harness p/n is the same…you’re golden. If you transfer over the ECM, BCM & column over together, they won’t know something is amiss.
So far I looked at the door wiring and it’s not a match. The Tahoe is missing some wires for the heated seats and folding mirrors. The seat wiring is way off too. I was thinking of taking all wiring out the car. But the dash was just being destroyed in the process
